It’s Couture week in Paris, but since we prefer the flyness of the STREET, we thought to bring you a little sumthin’ we like to call street couture! Yoshio’s a Japanese designer who moved to the city for some fashion inspiration. She designs all of her clothes herself (see below for more), including the most amazing skirt we’ve ever seen on a street-walker! It’s made of silk and nylon and reminds us a little of Bjork’s Swan Dress from the 2001 Oscars…with just a bit more class! The rest of the outfit’s equally as funky, including the ripped tights and cobra-like top. Hey, we may not always understand couture, but we gotta respect it! Check out ‘Cocoon’, the coolest video we’ve seen by Bjork and buy from Yoshio's designs below!

I love her use of patterns and textures!
What's that design on her bag? Kind of looks like a peacock.
...kool...very creative....i like that she wears it with such ease...it's as easy as a pair of jeans...!
