From fashion to graffiti, New York BREATHES style! In just a week, we've found some of the coolest and most eye-catching trends, and introduced you to some of the DOPEST kids from Harlem to Brooklyn. Our last day fom Swagger: New York features our boy Chen whose got the vintage-weekend look goin' HARD. From the beat-up Acne jeans, to the old-school white canvas shoes (coming back globally), the Nike tank underneath the old-school Eddie Bauer checkered shirt...he's masterin' the well-put-together, rolled outta bed look. The chapeau is always a good choice for the Summer sun, but Chen adds some NYC-spark with the wrapped red and blue band. Oh, and that graffiti wall...ONLY in NYC! Check out 'They Don't Really Care About Us' by the late Michael Jackson and buy a stand-out hat like Chen's below!

I love all of these elements but none of them together. The band was a nice touch. Although that hat and those shades are just crying out for a cleaner, cripser look. They are in direct contradiction with that checkered shirt. Speaking of that shirt, Swagger NY please point me in the direction of where he got it! Still, he gets points for originality.
Attitude? Check. Unique twist? Check. Modern twist on a vintage classic? Check. Swagger spotted, swagger found.
